December 28 2006: What better way to say goodbye to 2007 than with new photos of Bernie Dexter up in the Gallery! I'd like to thank everyone for their support in 2006, it's been another fabulous year for us! November 29 2006: We have added two new Retail Stores to our roster here, so be sure to visit Herbivore - the store if you are ever in Portland, OR (and check out their great veg*n lifestyle magazine of the same name), and go online to Babygirl Boutique to find our products and everything else a glamour gal needs! Production time is back down to two weeks maximum, and I am doing my best to get everything out sooner for the holidays. Let me know if you need an order by a particular date, and I will let you know if it will get there by regular post, or if you'll need to add extra shipping to make the date. November 7 2006: I've updated the Gallery with new photos of Bernie Dexter in her Signature Line, go take a look! November 1 2006: NOTE ON SHIPPING THIS MONTH: I will be very busy with burlesque and pin-up this month, as I'll be off performing in San Francisco on the 16th, appearing at Glamourcon in Los Angeles on the 18th and 19th, and performing in Portland on the 25th or 26th, so orders might take up to 3 weeks to get filled as I won't have as much time at my sewing machine, and I'm already swamped with orders! I'll do my best to get them off asap, but if you have a deadline, please let me know before ordering so I can let you know how soon I can get it to you. Sorry for any inconvenience! xoxo Bettina May
October 23 2006: Again with the new product update, and new photos in the Gallery!! Thanks to another brilliant custom order courtesy of pin-up siren Miss Tayva, we have added a black mink Ava stole to our product line, complete with new photos.
October 19 2006: New product update!! We have added Leopard Rugs to the selection of full-sized faux rugs thanks to a customer request, great idea Theresa! Go take a look, and imagine yourself curled up on one in front of a blazing fire, perfect for winter! Bettina May, photo by Lily Fawn October 14 2006: I've updated the custom page, so go take a look! With winter approching, it's pretty busy here in my workshop, but I can always find time to help you create your special creation. Just bear in mind that it may take up to two weeks for the item to be created, plus shipping time, as with all Coquette Faux Furriers orders due to their hand made nature (I still make each item to order myself!). September 24 2006: Who knew zebra print would be so popular? So popular that my supplier ran out unexpectedly, so I'm just waiting for them to get more in stock for me, and I'll let you all know when it's available again. Until then, if you are anxious to get your hands on something in that fabulous black and white, email me and I will notify you as soon as it's in. In other news, I have managed to find a supply of lovely cream-coloured faux suede to line the leopard print with, which some of you might remember was the original lining, so that is the new stock lining for all the leopard print muffs, stoles and hats. The purses will be lined in a matching cream satin, so it's easier to get your goodies out of them. September 18 2006: I'm back from my burlesque tour with my new troupe GLAM-O-RAMA, and to celebrate I've put up more photos from my favourite pin-up, Bernie Dexter in the Gallery, go take a look!! Now that I'm back I can get cracking on some new designs for fall, which I will put up here as soon as they are ready throughout the month!

March 3 2006: Some of you may have been following the SHAC 7 case, they are animal rights activists indicted under the controversial Federal Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act. The Act punishes anyone who "physically disrupts" an animal enterprise. The charges stem from these activists' alleged participation in an international campaign to close the notorious product testing lab Huntingdon Life Sciences. I just found out that the jury in the SHAC 7 case returned a guilty verdict on all counts as to all defendants. Some of the defendants face a maximum of 23 years!
